Jud’s goal was to become a one stop shop for farm fresh products when he built our website in 2019. We grow almost all of our vegetables and pasture raised meats, but wanted to offer other great Kentucky Proud products so our farm members could shop all in one place. We have now partnered with multiple farms to provide the best for our customers!

Prayer Mountain Farms
Heather and Andrew of Prayer Mountain Farms in Upton, Kentucky have been with us since the beginning. They are a veteran owned farm that produces healthy, delicious, ethically produced and locally grown gourmet mushrooms! We started out offering their mushrooms as a bi-weekly protein option for our customers in the early years and have expanded to also offer their mushrooms weekly on our online store during the CSA season. They offer pearl oyster, shitake, lions mane, chestnut, king oyster, and golden oyster mushrooms throughout the year. Our favorite are the lions mane, which make a great substitute for crab meat!

Wildcat Mountain Cheese

Clara and Ronnie Patton of Wildcat Mountain Cheese in East Bernstadt, KY have such a cool story. We found them through our processor, Moonlight Meat Processing, and they quickly invited us to the farm for a tour. Ronnie is a third generation dairy farmer and Clara is a self taught cheese marker. Ronnie practices some of the exact same sustainable practices as we do, including rotational grazing and grass feeding! You can not get any fresher cheese as their cheese making facility is a skip hop away from their dairy. The fresh milk literally travels across the field! We stock a variety of their delicious cheeses, but our favorite is definitely their garlic pepper cheddar.

S&B Bell Farms

Brian and Susan Bell of S&B Bell Farm in Hodgenville, KY have been with us for over three years. S&B Bell Farms raise alpacas (how cool!), sheep, and microgreens. Susan also bakes delicious gluten free goodies that can be found at the Hardin County Farmers Market. Our partnership started with their delicious microgreens, which are young vegetable greens with concentrated nutrients. We also offer their farm raised lamb! Susan and Brian sell our pasture raised pork at the farmer’s market on Saturday in Elizabethtown, too.

James Bennett’s Orchard

James Bennett Orchard is a small family business located in Hodgenville, KY. This is one of Abby’s favorite places in town. You will never meet a sweeter lady! Bennett’s Orchard provides us with juicy peaches and delicious apples during the summer months.

Hinton’s Orchard and Farm Market

Joanna and Jeremy Hinton of Hinton’s Orchard in Hodgenville, KY are a newer partnership for us, but are a well established family owned business in our community. We partnered with them during the 2020 season for their delicious strawberries and peaches! They have an excellent farm which is fun to visit in the fall.

Lee’s Garden Center

We could not forget Lee’s Garden Center! This is Jud’s family business that began in the late 1980s. Our CSA would not be where it is today without Robin and Scotty guidance and support. One of our summertime favorite products is their sweet corn. The Lee family takes pride in growing the best sweet corn and Robin takes it a step further by shucking, silking, and taking it off the cob so it is freezer ready just for you. You can now enjoy farm fresh sweet corn all year round!

Our farm partners are important because they allow us to diversify our online store so that you can select the best farm fresh products throughout our CSA season!
